Delta & Northwest Loyalty Program Integration

As part of the Northwest/Delta merger, we are integrating WorldPerks into the Delta SkyMiles® program.

  • If you had previously linked your WorldPerks and SkyMiles accounts, your accounts are in the process of being consolidated. We anticipate that all linked accounts will be consolidated no later than October 4. As soon as we complete the consolidation of your account, we will advise you via e-mail.
  • If you did not have a SkyMiles account or had not previously linked your WorldPerks and SkyMiles accounts, you have been assigned a new 10-digit SkyMiles number that will replace your WorldPerks number. This new number will be communicated to you in early October.

In the meantime, please feel free to use your 9- or 12-digit number to log in and access your account on nwa.com. If you would like to begin using your new 10-digit SkyMiles number to log into nwa.com before you receive your communication, you may look up your number by using your 9- or 12-digit WorldPerks number in our new SkyMiles Lookup tool.

With the loyalty program integration, you should continue to:

  • Purchase tickets and modify existing reservations as you've always done via nwa.com or NWA Reservations at 1-800-225-2525.
  • Check in, check baggage and do business directly with the airline you are flying, just as you did before the merger.
  • Earn miles as usual by flying and by taking advantage of our extensive mileage partner network.
  • Redeem miles for award ticket travel and non-travel rewards.
  • Enjoy uninterrupted access to Delta Sky Club.

Program Integration FAQs

  1. I logged in with my 9- or 12-digit number, but a different number was displayed. What happened?
You have been automatically assigned a new 10-digit SkyMiles number. Both of your account numbers will continue to work on nwa.com and delta.com. Your new 10-digit SkyMiles number will be formally communicated to you in October.

  2. I have not received a communication advising me of my new 10-digit SkyMiles number. What should I do?
If you have not yet received a communication containing your new SkyMiles number, you may continue to log in on nwa.com using your 9- or 12-digit WorldPerks number. If you would like to begin using your newly assigned 10-digit SkyMiles number on nwa.com or delta.com, you may look it up using our new SkyMiles Lookup tool.

  3. I received an e-mail about my linked/merged accounts. What does this mean?
Earlier this year, members who held both WorldPerks and SkyMiles accounts were invited to link these two accounts together and transfer miles freely between the two accounts. After we integrated the WorldPerks and SkyMiles loyalty programs, we merged the WorldPerks and SkyMiles account numbers you linked together, and your account information became associated with the SkyMiles account number you provided during the linking process. The e-mail you received was a notification that you should begin using your SkyMiles number as the primary account number when you log in on nwa.com or delta.com.

  4. I previously had a SkyMiles account number, but I did not link it to my WorldPerks account number. What happened to it?
If you did not link your SkyMiles and WorldPerks accounts prior to the program integration, you were assigned a brand-new 10-digit SkyMiles number. If you would like to associate your old and new SkyMiles accounts, you may visit delta.com to request that these accounts be merged.

  5. Now that I have a new SkyMiles number, do I need to choose a new PIN?
No, your existing WorldPerks PIN has been associated with your new SkyMiles number--please continue to use it to log in on nwa.com or delta.com. If you have forgotten your PIN or need to change it, please use our PIN Help page.

  6. Why is my mileage balance/Elite status different from what it was before the program integration?
If you previously had both a WorldPerks account and a SkyMiles account, the balances in those accounts, including redeemable miles and elite qualifying miles, have been combined. The resulting balance is now shown in your new SkyMiles account.

  7. What has changed on nwa.com?
To reflect the integration of the two loyalty programs, you'll notice some content changes on nwa.com. In some instances, when you navigate through nwa.com, you will be directed to pages that reside on delta.com to find the information you are seeking. However, please continue to use nwa.com as you normally would--to book flights, check in online, view your itineraries and access your account information.
